You don't have to be a kid to be in this camp!UUWA is made possible by a team of volunteers who love making magic possible. Acting as Ghosts (youth volunteers age 14+), Professors (one-hour class facilitators), and House Leaders (week-long mentors), our volunteers work to build up the make believe world of UUWA with costumes, ridiculous names, and more.
You can join for an hour on one day of the week, or you can stick with us for the full five days. If you're interested in joining in, send an email to Chancellor Porpington (ahem, Jenn Blosser): dff@uufhc.net |

Get a taste of the magic! Here's the fun we had in our 2022 term of UUWA!
|
UUWA aims to take the best inspiration from the world of Harry Potter and transform it into something more loving, inclusive, and in line with our Unitarian Universalist values. We firmly denounce J.K. Rowling and her harmful views on trans rights, fatphobia, racism, and antisemitism. We make no defense of the Harry Potter franchise in light of the author’s position on these and other things and therefore we do not use any official Harry Potter characters, themes, merchandise, or stories in our programming. UUWA is what the Wizarding World could have been if it had been radically inclusive and accepting.
